Meet The Chiropractor

Introducing Tavares Chiropractor Dr. Jason Buehler

As a young child, I often went with both of my parents as well as my grandmother to visit the interesting doctor who would put them onto the table that made all kinds of sounds and twisted them around in all sorts of directions. When they got finished, they would always say how great they felt compared to when they walked in. All this with no medicines, no surgery, just his hands!

Chiropractic Career

I knew from a young age that I wanted to become a doctor. I was just not sure which type of doctor I wanted to be. I was always intrigued by the chiropractor my family went to, but I wasn’t set on following that path until I was in college. I did a lot of soul searching and decided to pursue chiropractic because it just made sense to me. I took a look at the health care system in America and saw that it wasn’t really that great. Our population, compared to the rest of the world, is over medicated, sick and overweight, to mention a few of our problems. I wanted to be part of the solution, not the problem. A very smart man, Albert Einstein, said “You can’t solve a problem with the same level of thinking that created it.” I felt chiropractic was part of the solution. It is a method of healing that focuses on “health” care and not “sick” care like the traditional model. We see what is “right” with your body and help to express that, instead of focusing on what is “wrong”, and treating the symptom.

I graduated with honors from the University of Miami in 1998 and continued on to Life Chiropractic College West to pursue my doctorate of chiropractic in California. In 2003, I graduated from chiropractic school as the salutatorian and received the Clinical Excellence Citation, handed out to the most outstanding clinical intern each quarter. After getting licensed in Florida, I became involved as an associate doctor in a very busy family practice in Oveido, Florida. I had the amazing opportunity to impact thousands of lives, while at the same time strengthening my confidence to start my own practice.

Dr. Buehler’s Mission

My primary mission is to improve the health of my community by providing the highest level of care possible in the industry. I have a calm, focused approach to care and will make your experience warm and pleasant. Education is paramount in my practice. From your first visit, you will be told exactly what to expect, exactly what I can do for you, how long it will take, how much it will cost, etc. There are no surprises, just straightforward explanations with no confusion. I enjoy working with all ages, from children to seniors and I utilize gentle, safe techniques for everyone. I love my patients and I take care of the whole person, not just the symptom.

Away from Buehler Family Chiropractic

I currently live in beautiful Eustis, Florida and enjoy spending time with my sweetheart Michelle and our 4 children, Kyle, Ryan, Chase and Keira. We love going to the beach,, visiting Disney parks, going out to eat or to movies, and just hanging out together at home!

I am proud to say that I live by what is known as the “chiropractic lifestyle.” I get adjusted at least once a week, exercise as much as I can, eat properly, and try to stay as stress-free as possible (that is very difficult these days). I supplement my diet with whole food nutrition and avoid medication. I rarely get sick and attribute that to keeping my body healthy to begin with, not just waiting until a symptom happens and treating it.
